Вокладка альбома - відавочны прыкол над эротыкай, заняла па анкеце часопіса "Playboy" першае месца. Пазней і гэтая вокладка была падвергнутая цэнзуры і таму была прыдуманая альтэрнатыўная вокладка са скарпіёнам на цёмна-сінім фоне.

Час паказау, што "Lovedrive" быў і застаецца першым альбомам вышэйшай лігі heavy-metal, вырабленым у Нямеччыне.

Альбом "Lovedrive" патрапіў у амерыканскі хіт-парад і пратрымаўся ў ім 30 тыдняў. У Англіі пласцінка знаходзілася ў спісах 11 тыдняў.
